HM.. i’m expecting something in the mail that’s 56 lbs. Any guess as to what it may be?

i’ll give you a clue. It gives me this expression on my face when i think bout it.

I am utterly disappointed. Out of excitement, I imagined coming home from my first day of finals to find that a new Macbook Pro would be up for grabs at the store.

Unfortunately, only three words could describe me right now.

disappointment. impatient. shocked.

I’ve been waiting for.. 4 years now? Not for this particular Macbook Pro refresh that was supposed to have the new Intel i7 processors. But i’ve just been holding off on upgrading my dying 2006 white macbook.

I plan to apply to CSSSA and i’m worried about whether or not if my white macbook would be able to handle cs4.

and iPad? SERIOUSLY? I mean iNote. iSlate were SOO Much better names. Even MacPad would’ve been better.

It just shocks me as to how Apple didn’t see this “pad” reference in their name.

Apple, is a very conceptual company and tries to keep things simple. Hence, macbook, macbook pro, iMac, Mac Pro, Ipod.

but iPad? man.. i don’t see that simple conceptual visionary in that name.

i digress. Maybe apple will release an update soon. 233 days since the last update in June 2009.

I can’t contain my excitement!

I have a love/hate relation with Apple.

They have impeccable design and quality. Yet i hate:

their secrecy.

It really makes people speculate about what’s going on internally at Apple.

I’m completely aware of the impending tablet that they are going to announce. Yet, for about 2 hours today, out of excitement, I looked up Macbook Pro Refresh rumors and…

I couldn’t find any. Every news story was tablet related. I think the closest I got to finding a rumor that was had the macbook pro in it was a photo of the supposed tablet atop a macbook pro. -.-’

15hours and 3 minutes.

yet i still have a ton to study for tomorrow’s finals. >< FML

DUDE. Apple is like my driving force at the moment. I’m applying to CSSSA [California State Summer School for the Arts] hoping that i get accepted for this summer’s term. However, as a great craftsman needs great tools. I need a new computer.

More specifically, a 15″ Macbook Pro. I’ve been saving up for the past 5 years as i’ve held up with my 2006 white macbook. Yet it’s given it all it’s best for me in terms of graphic design.

Finals are coming up, so the Apple announcement on the 27th at 10 am is really a big deal for me and it’s keeping me good in spirits. I should really be studying, yet i just felt a need to update my blog. As for my New Year’s Resolutions is to record my life alot more.

Once i get my MBP i plan to start a digital journal with all my thoughts. Maybe i’ll venture onto youtube and make videos of my life.

Once again, and hopefully not the last

It needs a rest. An ETERNAL rest

i swear, i have no idea what i was thinking at the time when i bought it.

OH its white, its light, its a Macbook White.

I remember the first day, i stayed up until 2 am just to explore my new “baby”

The surprising intro video, the every so simple yet daunting looking registration.

The mistake of putting my nickname as my “permanent” identity for my computer.

It was heaven, at a time, for 4 years ago to be correct,

It was shiny, new, and fast at a time.

Now its dull, old, and slow when 3 pages worth of an essay comes by.

I know i’m complaining. But its amazing to know its been 4 years.

This laptop has served me well.. now its time to move to the “Pros”

XD get it? macbook “pro” ah. no.

So my mom came back from a parents meeting for my MUN (Model United Nations) class, and this is what she reported to me:

Mom: So Mary was complaining about the students at the dance.
Me: Why?
Mom: She said they were dancing janitor to janitor!
*mom claps hands together*
Me: like how?! janitor to janitor??
Mom: NO! JANITORRRR TO JANITORRRRR!
*clapping hands together again*

I learned the next day from my MUN classmates that the lady complained about students “freak-dancing” aka “genital to genital”
